Robert Petty • Managing Partner

Robert Petty is the Managing Partner of Clearwater Capital Partners and is a member of the firm's Investment Committee. Based in New York, Mr. Petty's principal responsibilities encompass portfolio management, trading and sourcing.

Prior to founding Clearwater, Mr. Petty was a Managing Director at Amroc Investments LLC, where he managed that firm's international distressed debt sales, trading and advisory activities from 1998 to 2001. From 1996 to 1998, he was an Executive Director and head of syndication and high yield trading for Asian high yield credits at Peregrine Fixed Income Ltd and, from 1984 to 1996, Mr. Petty worked at Lehman Brothers Holdings, Inc. in numerous capacities within the Fixed Income Department. His positions at Lehman included: corporate bond trader in Tokyo, risk manager of a $1 billion balance sheet in the Medium Term Notes Department, international corporate debt and private placement trader, and head of the Private Placement Department.

Mr. Petty holds a B.A. in Political Science from Brown University (1983).
